Gift of Solitude

There is a certain freedom to not needing anybody.  I mean, yes, it is nice to have others around but the incessant need to fill my life up with others who validate my existence is just not there.  I sit alone and appreciate my solitude.  I do all the things I want to do with no compromise.  I can explore all of my deepest thoughts without having to justify them to anyone.  No interruptions.  There is an indescribable sense of peace that comes with simply being.  Naked and free.  Physically, mentally and psychologically.  I have always been a bit of a loner so maybe it is easier for me to appreciate but I do suggest that you take some time out to fully BE.  Enjoy your solitude for I would argue that it is these moments that we take for granted the most.  Learn to sit and watch the moment without expecting anything else from it except that it exists.  It is the most rewarding, fulfilling and re-energizing feeling once you get the hang of it.
